The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving around.
But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have actually pushed up the cost of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.
